Israeli writer Etget Keret, one of the minds behind WRISTCUTTERS: A LOVE STORY and JELLYFISH, brings more of his brand of magical realism to the screen with this stop-motion film based on his writing. Twentysomething Dave is without a job and lives with his family, but he is in search of the meaning of life. His interactions with his quirky neighbors fuel both the film and his hunt for knowledge.

Laura Smet (THE BRIDESMAID) stars as a celebrity who is unhappy with her marriage and falls into infidelity with handsome photographer François (Louis Garrel). When her husband returns, the affair ends, and Caroles unhappiness causes her to commit suicide. Later, when François is about to be married, he begins to see the ghost of his former love. FRONTIER OF DAWN also stars the elder Garrels student Clémentine Poidatz, as well as Emmanuel Broche and Olivier Massart.
